How to contribute to this project
We need you to contribute to Balloch Local History, your local history site
How can you help???
1. We need material for copying;
- Photographs of old Balloch
- Newspaper clippings
- Programmes, tickets etc.
- Maps
All originals will of course be returned.
If you have anything that may be of help please email us with the details and we will be in touch
2. Do you have local knowledge?
We would really welcome the opportunity to talk with anyone who has knowledge of old Balloch. Personal histories will give us a much better insight into how things have changed. Even 5 minutes of your time would be greatly appreciated.

3. Can you spare a little time?
Currently we need volunteers to gather information for the Local History Recording Project 2008/9. Volunteers will be trained and will be paid reasonable expenses, please contact if you can help
4. Give us your opinion, join in our FORUM
This is YOUR web-site, please send any comments, alterations, updates etc that you have. We need your input to add to our knowledge and to make sure we get it right, history is often a matter of opinion and interpretation, so please send in your ideas
5. Please come along to any of our meetings.
