Balloch Primary School
Balloch Primary School is a non denominational school catering for boys and girls from their pre-school years to Primary 7.
Balloch is a medium sized village 5 miles from the city of Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland.
The roll of the school is presently 293 pupils.
This has increased greatly from the small village school which was originally known as Culloden Public School.
The present main school building opened in 1991 and was extended in 1996.
However, there has been a school on the site for at least 130 years.
Records indicating the retiral of Mr John McGillvray, headteacher, are dated 1870.
