Balloch Village Hall
Booking details
The community hall was built and opened in 1980 after many years of fundraising and planning.
The hall is well used with many block bookings taken in term times and loads of one off bookings for a variety of functions.
At present (Jan 2007) the committee consists of:
- President - Mr George Riddell
- Secretary - Bob McGowan
- Treasurer - Mrs June Mackinnon
- Hall convenor - Mrs Laura MacGowan.

Hall charges are (from Jan 2008);
- Small hall £5.00/hour
- Large hall £7.00/hour
Rates apply to block bookings. One off bookings charges for parties /functions - please enquire.
For larger functions the halls can be opened into a larger space.
Maximum number 140 people. (£7.00/hour).
Access to kitchen is available for all bookings.
Cooking facilities and use of crockery is basic and minimal.
We have an AGM in March of every year to which all hall users are invited and the committee can be re elected or changed as proposed by those in attendance.
