Pronunciation note
Our Village of Balloch is often confused with the place of the same name at the southern end of Loch Lomond, near Alexandria, or the one in Cumbernauld.
We pronounce our Balloch with a short and soft ‘B’ as the first syllable and then stress the second part which is pronounced like ‘loch’, sounding nearly like B’loch - Listen to a pronunciation of Balloch.
