| Inverness Mod and beyond... |

The choir had a great day out at the Local Mod in Inverness,
many thanks to those on the committee who organised the event so well.
We came a close second to Dingwall Gaelic Choir in the own choice competition,
and were winners in the Puirt a beul.
Our next mission takes us further afield, to sing at the International Eisteddfod in Wales,
a first for the choir, and a cultural experience we are greatly looking forward to.
Many thanks to the common good fund for their support.

Happy New Year to all friends and supporters of the Choir!
The choir is now back in session, and looking forward to another busy year in 2010.
We enjoyed a varied programme of carol concerts over the holidays,
and were featured along with James Graham, Kathleen MacInnes and our own Maggie MacDonald
on a BBC Alba special on Christmas Eve:
