Details: Cearcall Gaidhlig Lannraig A' Tuath meets on Saturdays from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm at Townhead Community Centre, Coatbridge. There are activities for all ages- Croileagan for under 5's, Sradagan for older children and free conversation classes for adults at beginner and intermediate/ advanced levels. There is a small charge for the children's activities. Tea/coffee, juice and snack are provided. Cearcall also has a women's Orain Luaidh group, Buaille air a' Bhord meeting on Thursday evenings at the Muirfield Community Centre, Cumbernauld. This is an informal group and no previous experience of Gaelic or singing is required. There is no charge to attend the group. The courses will be based at the Ravenspoint Centre, Kershader, South Lochs, Lewis – where good basic hostel accommodation will be provided. This acclaimed new course will comprise: 15 hours' tuiton using the ULPAN method of learning, local visits to experience life in a Gaelic-speaking community; learning about the area's remarkable history and culture. Details: Ulpan 6-Day Course, Units 1-24 Coatbridge (Glasgow) Dates: 04/05/06 (Thur—Sat) & 08/09/10 (Mon-Wed)February 2010. The venue for each course day, except Saturday 6th February, is Charlotte Toal Centre, Dundyvan Road, Coatbridge, ML5 1DB On Saturday 6th February , the course will be held at the Coatbridge Community Centre, 9 Old Monkland Road, Coatbridge, ML5 5EA. Tea and coffee are not included in the price. There is no facility for buying tea and coffee but there are soft drinks machines in both Centres. You may bring your own packed lunch with you. Ùlpan courses qualify for ILA Scotland funding. People who are living, working or otherwise active in North Lanarkshire will receive funding towards the course fee from North Lanarkshire Council. Details: Ulpan 6-Day Course, Units 25-48 Coatbridge (Glasgow) Dates: 04/05/06 (Thur—Sat) & 08/09/10 (Mon-Wed)February 2010. The venue for each course day, except Saturday 6th February, is Charlotte Toal Centre, Dundyvan Road, Coatbridge, ML5 1DB On Saturday 6th February , the course will be held at the Coatbridge Community Centre, 9 Old Monkland Road, Coatbridge, ML5 5EA. Tea and coffee are not included in the price. There is no facility for buying tea and coffee but there are soft drinks machines in both Centres. You may bring your own packed lunch with you. Ùlpan courses qualify for ILA Scotland funding. People who are living, working or otherwise active in North Lanarkshire will receive funding towards the course fee from North Lanarkshire Council.
