Ulpan - news

Clì Gàidhlig works closely with Deiseal Ltd. to offer training in the new skills needed to teach the Ùlpan system.  After accreditation, tutors can access a comprehensive, structured course and all teaching materials it requires.

Tutor-training courses are held monthly, at venues as close as possible to where prospective tutors live.

An introductory two-day course prepares trainees to participate in six-days of practical training with a class.  Normally an interval of a fortnight is provided after the two-day course to permit preparation of classes and materials.
Trainees deliver or observe 36 hours of supervised tuition, applying their skills on real learners of Gaelic.

Training courses also need students - if you'd like to learn or develop your Gaelic in an intense burst before going on to join a biweekly class, these would suit you well.
Clì's Ùlpan courses qualify for ILA grants.
