The History of the Brewery

The Brewery was established in an old Tractor Shed, one of a number of redundant farm buildings and workshops that have been renovated by their owners, Islay Estates.

	Before it all began The front of the Tractor Shed  The Tractor Shed complete with eight tons of rubble and rubbish accumulated over a good number of years! Note the holey roof and broken windows.

  

	Refurbishment of the building This view is taken from what will become the Visitor Centre looking towards the brewery. The wall, complete with a large viewing window, between the Visitor Centre and the Brewery has yet to be built. A view of the external refurbishment as the roof is replaced. The door in the centre of the picture is the entrance to the Brewery. Immediately in front of you at the top of the picture is the mezzanine floor. The wall ahead of you, complete with viewing window, divides the Visitor Centre form the Brewery. It was not only the front of the building that had to be tackled.
