Our staff, all fully qualified nursery nurses and trained assistants have all been through a rigorous recruitment procedure, have been Disclosure Scotland checked and each is committed to providing the very best childcare for your child.
Observational Assessments
To ensure continuity of care and to support children’s learning and development, we observe and assess each child’s abilities through out their time at Tiny Tots and keep a record of their progress.
The record begins as a very basic checklist in the baby room and develops into a more comprehensive form of assessment once your child reaches the pre-school years.
The record kept of your child’s ability, or ‘Child Profile’ as it is called, will be given to you at the end of the pre-school year and should be passed on to their prospective primary school teacher as evidence of their ability, thus assuring continuity of learning.
