Cardross Tenants and Residents Association
Congratulations
Rose Colquhoun, a committee member with Cardross TRA for neary twenty years, and her husband George celebrated 60 years of happy marriage by throwing a party for family and friends at Cardross Golf Club. Rose and George, who were married on 9th.January 1948, have two sons, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Congratulations !!!!!
Secretary news
After considerable deliberation, Bill and I have decided to stand down as chair and secretary of Cardross Tenants and Resident Association. Clachan Strachur Tenants and Residents Association
Fundraising event
Clachan (Strachur) TRA are currently fundraising for our play area firstly we will need to raise £600 for our liability insuarance. we have recieved £300 to help with the cost of doing up the grassed area with planters and a seeating area we will also be replanting the flower beds at the bottom end of Forest View so any greened fingered volunteers out there you will be made most welcome.

Next Committee Meeting 13th October, 2008
Miss Jane MacQueen, Factoring Officer, ACHA attended our meeting on 8th September, 2008. She updated the members on progress with regards to factoring. It was a very satisfactory meeting. Jane has carried out so much work in the three months since we last met.
Project for year 2008 -2009
We are still trying to improve the safety of the exit from Maitland Court car park onto East Princes Street. This exit is unmarked and drivers heading towards Sinclair Street are unaware of it and are concentrating on the traffic lights at the junction of Princes Street and Sinclair Street. Cllr. Al Reay has agreed to help us in our endeavour.
